TIKKA MASALA
Tikka Masala Pasta
India meets Italy — a creamy tikka-spiced pasta that's weeknight comfort in under 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
- 200g pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 2 tsp Apical Tikka Masala

1 cup tomato passata

1/2 cup heavy cream or coconut cream

1 tbsp butter + 1 tsp oil

1 small onion, diced
- Salt and fresh basil to finish
METHOD
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water per packet instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Meanwhile, saute onion in butter and oil over medium heat for 5–6 min until soft.
- Stir in Apical Tikka Masala and cook 1 min until fragrant.
- Add passata, stir well, and simmer 8 min. Pour in cream and cook 3 more min.
- Toss in drained pasta, adding a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce to your liking.
- Season with salt, top with torn basil, and serve immediately.
