Crispy Garlic Smashed Potatoes

Golden, crunchy smashed potatoes with a punchy garlic kick — the ultimate crowd-pleasing party snack.

INGREDIENTS

  1.  500g baby potatoes
  2.  1½ tsp Apical Garlic Powder
  3. 3 tbsp olive oil
  4. ½ tsp black pepper
  5. 1 tsp sea salt
  6.  2 tbsp grated parmesan (or nutritional yeast)
  7. Fresh parsley to garnish

METHOD

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water for 18–20 min until fork-tender. Drain and let steam dry.
  2. Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with parchment.
  3. Place potatoes on the tray and smash each one flat with the bottom of a glass.
  4. Mix olive oil, Apical Garlic Powder, salt, and pepper. Drizzle generously over potatoes.
  5. Roast for 20–25 min until edges are deeply golden and crispy.
  6. Sprinkle parmesan, return to oven for 3 min, then top with fresh parsley and serve hot.
